Isiuwa Boys

Isiuwa offer young men human, social and professional training: giving them the tools that they need to be academically excellent, responsible citizens, God fearing individuals and future profesionals. Isiuwa is dedicated to seeing a new generation of young men with integrity, high moral standards and positive systems.

The centre provides an atmosphere conducive for study, offers a wide range of formal and informal academic tutorials, Information Technology (IT) skills and further professional training along with basic moral and cultural formation.

The goal is to complement the academic and professional preparation that students receive from the various universities, with a view to building up a corps of young people who are able to excel at their chosen professions and approach their future lives and careers with the uprightness and sincere commitment that society needs. The Prelature of Opus Dei takes care of the activities of moral formation in some of these projects.

Opus Dei

Opus Dei is a Catholic institution founded by Saint Josemaría Escrivá. Its mission is to help people turn their work and daily activities into occasions for growing closer to God, for serving others, and for improving society.

Opus Dei complements the work of local churches by offering classes, talks, retreats and pastoral care that help people develop their personal spiritual life and apostolate. As the Second Vatican Council noted, every baptized person is called to follow Jesus Christ, by living according to the Gospel and making it known to others.

The aim of Opus Dei is to contribute to that evangelizing mission of the Church, by promoting among Christians of all social classes a life fully consistent with their faith, in the middle of the ordinary circumstances of their lives and especially through the sanctification of their work.

Opus Dei’s main activity consists in offering its members, and other people, the spiritual means they need to live as good Christians in the midst of the world.
